Began building models on my 5th birthday... a Snap kit Supermarine Spitfire...For some reason I took it to bed that night, rolled over on it and broke it!! First car was a Snap kit 1968 Camaro in 1:32 scale. Old Chevrolets have been in my family since day one, as Grandpa worked at City Buick in Toronto...Dad still own's Uncle Nick's 1951 2dr Sedan, bought new at City. A 1950 Convertible was pulled out of a farmers field near Smithfalls Ont. in 1972, and took 14 years to restore. All of my builds now reflect this Chevrolet influence on my life, as I struggle to build a Chev of every year prior to 1972!
