    Trouble with spacing

    Can someone help me? When I type a post, my computer skips a line

    (as here). It happens only on this site, and has just recently begun.

    I am unable to edit out the spaces between lines. I don't see anyone

    else having this problem. Can someone please tell me what's going on?

    Re: Trouble with spacing

    This came with the new forum format.
    You just hold down the shift key and hit return otherwise you get double spacing between the lines, I found that out myself by accident.
    I don't know why this forum format has double spacing as default setting and this is the only one I have ever seen that has that...and I'm a user on several.
    I would have prefered that when I hit the return key the cursor only go down one line and if I want to have double spacing I just hit the return key twice...very basic and simple.

    Re: Trouble with spacing

    Do you hit enter at the end of each line of text or do you let the text run into the next line? When you let it run into the next line, it wraps, like this.  But when you hit enter, it will add the space.

    See below for your post with the "returns" removed.

    Force and najohns2;
    I tested both of your suggestions, and they both work for me. Thanks!!!

     del austin,
    If you find a remedy for that kind of spacing, I'd be interested to learn that too!
