Re: AMT and MPC kit releases

I've seen previews of some of the new box art,  the boxes now have images of the contents on the box bottoms.  The 60 Starliner has all new box art that is done 60's style and it will be a 2n1 issue.  It's just too cool !   Hopefully John G. will see this and post some of the preivews here too.

Definetly looking forward to the Super Bee. I'm gonna build something similar to the "Mutant Bee" that was featured in Popular Hot Rodding.

Thats Great! Been waiting & waiting and I do hope they do well selling the kits too. Looks like someone forgot the AMT Chevy Titan 90 truck kit? Thanks Jim.

I've cleared some room in my storage cabinet for a few 49 Fords myself. Actually I bought a new cabinet so I can buy all I want!

Defiantly looking for the Hippy Hemi and Digger 'Cuda. Both came out about the time I entered boot camp and I never saw either of them after I got out.

Those kits were slated for release as Stevens International private reissues before the whole AMT and Round 2 deal went down.  So the process to release those kits was already set in motion.  I wont be impressed with this untill I see some new tooling or a good reissue to make a eairly super stock or vintage oval track racer with proper lisencing (form exisiting tooling).

Well then I guess you won't be impressed, as (to my knowledge) no mention of new tooling was ever mentioned by Round2. But the rest of us will still be happy with our long lost re-issues.

49 Ford...... anyone ever see "Thunder Road"? Combine the parts from a 50 conv. and a 49 Ford, add a little scratch building and you hav Robert Mitchum's "tanker".
