When I post pics which I always take at 640x480 the right side of the pic is missing when I post. Why is this happening on this site only? Worked fine for years on the old site and all other sites I'm a part of. Anyone have an idea or help?

Okay, did more poking around. As I said, all of my pics are taken with the same camera on the same exact settings for internet use and are all 640x480. On the new SA site, I see some of my pics are resized (where you have to click them to see full size image) and some show up as full size. The ones that show up full size (no clicking involved)  are the ones that have the right 20-30 % of the picture missing?? Whats up with this?? 

Probably showing too large and needs shifted left to right across the bottom!

I hope someone does answer this, I have the same problem, very anoying.

When this happens, hit Refresh on your browser and the pics will magically reappear the right size. I have NO idea why this works but it does.

As the original post is 2 months old, this may help any new members posting photos. Snake45 is correct. If you picture comes up with a "resized" border at the top you can "refresh" the page or leave that post area and revisit it. It usually will come up the correct size after you return.

On the issue of the right side of the photo being "cut off" on the right side - I've experimented with this and found when shooting the subject (model) leave a margin on the right side. The photo will usually come in almost centered on your post. 

TIP-In your photo editor, crop the photo to approx. 1980 x 1260 (leaving the right side margin). Then download to Photobucket,or whatever online host you use, at 640 x 480. You may have to experiment a little and I can't say this works for everyone but, it has worked fine for me.
