Why is it when I look at pictures in a post, I can not see the Whole picture? This is the biggest problem I have with the new form. I know I'am not the only one having this problem.I have not seen a answer for this problem or if it will be fixed.I subscribe to this magazine and have for years. I have not liked the way the magazine has been going for awhile now. With this change in the form it seems they have made one more mistake.

The new format of the forum is okay in most ways.  The problem I see is as described in the last post.  Only about one-third of the width of the page is available for pics.  That means either smaller pics, or having to scroll sideways to see the whole pic...a little at a time.  That can't be right.  Hope you will fix this problem...

 Mustanglover1951 download the new Firefox web browser. It's free and it will solve all your viewing problems. I was using Safari and Explorer for browsers but neither would work with this new SA layout. Wouldn't even let me post anything!! I was having the same problem with the new Photobucket site so I emailed them and they told me to load Firefox and it worked - both on their site and SA's site!

All photos come up full view, you can enlarge them to their original size if you want and the whole page layout now fits the screen. The only bug I can see is the text in the posts is cut off by a few letters on the right side of the box.

I downloaded Firefox and it is really slow to load the pictures . Now what ?

I'm having the same problem,but it's not all of the pictures.Some will be the full picture resized and others will be only half.It does it my posts also.Usually the first pic will be a half and the rest will be resized.I don't think it has anything to do with the server.

Try refreshing when you get a page of half-pics. It works for me across multiple 'Puters & browsers.

I have noticed that being on photobucket you can set what sizeyou want your image to turn out,this means I can show a pic from my photobucket album resized to small but on this SA posts the person reading can click on the banner on top of the pic and bring it up to full size.                See wot I meen.

We have noticed in our testing lab - PC users running IE6 have experienced this where the picture looks like it is cropped and mis-aligned.

I believe based on the size of the original image and the quantity of images has an affect during the loading of the forum thread when IE6 is used.

The fix would be to try using FireFox version 2.xx or upgrading IE6 to IE7. Please report back.

I just came across this thread after posting a similar one. I have the same problem and telling folks to download a new browser isn't really a good answer. I have ZERO problems on any other forum posting pics, and I belong to plenty. I wont use a new browser just to use the new SA site which is extremely slow to begin with. There are problems here and they are not being fixed.

I've been having the same problem here. I'm also using 640 x 480 download in photobucket. I've tried downloading at 320 x 240 but the photos are small and you can't see any detail. I've tried resizing and cropping. I've shot hundreds of pictures and so far the only luck I've had is shooting the original picture with a wide margin on the right side. But, this doesn't always work.

Well SA needs to do something because no other forum I encounter experiences this. I mean this is a site full of pictures is it not? One shouldn't have trouble posting pictures if a big part of this site is showing off our work to other fellow modelers. Again, I'm not going to change browsers because NO other site requires me to do this simply to host pics correctly. SA are you listening? FIX IT.

I agree. This new format doesn't work.

The right-hand of the screen is mostly blank, save for a ad banner near the top of the page, making the remaining space for the images useless.

I tried to re-size all 3 of the images which I inserted into my last post...2 are shown correctly, but one remains full-size, despite my attempts to correct this on Photobucket.

If I made the image smaller, then one of the other images would then appear full-size, and so-on. No matter what combination I tried (other than reducing them to a tiny size) one of the photos remained full-size.

These 'improvements' to the site have not benefitted anyone. The primary reason most of us come here, is to see each other's work. If that process is too difficult, I suspect we will leave in droves and go to other forums where these problems don't exist.

Please fix it....it used to be so good.
