Here are a few pics of some scratchbuilding I did in 1/8 scale for the Big Deuce model. They are fully padded and fold forward like the real deal. I decided to get rid of the goofy looking bench seat and replacing it with two of these. They'll also be adjustable forward and back.
I'm hopelessly addicted to building models. Not finishing them, just building them.

Woa Jeff, waaaay too much time on your hands!
I guess Kentucky has been good to you after all that 'wind' down south, eh?
You know, a Gibson Birdland would look real good sitting on that seat.

All you need now are some 1/8 scale coins to lose between the cushions!
Great work...if the rest of the model turns out as nice as the seats, you'll have a sure-fire contest winner/

Will they adjust back far enough for a 6' 5" frame that means me. Great job on the seats by all means show the rest.

Amazing work, HFC! What did you make them out of? I'd be very interested to see how they went together. Any "in progress" photos?

I'm curious as to how you did the welting. Also (and if possible) the material on the absolute bottom of the seat could/should be tucked under, giving a clean demarcation of the bottom.

Raul Perez did the colored welting on his latest rod(Rapture?) by using colored wires drilled and glued on the seats.....This looks KILLER!!!!
