Heres a couple of more pics of some I've done. Junkers and beaters come in just about all forms....cars, trucks, motorcycles etc.. Just about anything you can think of can become a junker.

Those are wonderful . . . in a "junked" kind of way . . . I never get tired of seeing your work. Congrats on a fine collection.

Here's a working beater tow truck we use to move the other vintage projects around the yard. Its not too beat, just weathered.

Interesting topic here, Twister... ... This one should get a lot of posters.
I'm not much of a junker builder even though I've owned a few real ones in my life... I normally try to build pretty vehicles but I did build this one for another project.
Also... I'm not real sure what kit this came from or how old it is... I bought the unbuilt pieces at a model swap meet... Any help identifying it for me

Nice weathering on the mini bike Tommy. I saw it in the WWIII post. I don't know what kit it came from but if it were real I'd say its a Honda 50 from the 60's or early 70's.

Great job from MoldinOldies! That little tiny diorama is just too cool! I can't remember...Was that in the Peanut Butter Lid Project?

It is hard to finish projects sometimes and I know what thats like. Work and the real world sometimes interfere with our favorite hobby. This post is a little slower than I thought it would be..........There must not be as many junker builders as I thought.

Darryl, I too am suprised there are not a ton of them showing up...I think a lot of folks just don't look at this section. there was a post down in suggestions and feedback asking for a seperate forum for them...http://www.scaleautomag.com/sca/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=37325
Maybe if this stays near the top for awhile you'll get more response...I haven't got any yet or I'da put something here...

Darryl . . . these vehicles are looking good and I think lots of people build them . . . I know Daveinthehat builds lots of them, and so does Pat Covert and many others . . . I love doing them and here, I'll post a couple . . . including my Gunk Mobile which I finished earlier this year and of which I'm rather fond! Cheers, V.

Curses! I build almost exclusively junkers and beaters. Probably more beaters than junkers, as I like all my builds to look like they could still be driven. Well-worn daily drivers. But, I've just moved and everything's still packed. I have posted a few builds in the past, but I'll try to get a few pics up when I find the camera and unbox the models.
So far the work shown here is great. Tommy, that bike is awesome! And Darryl, your work is always cool to see. I really like the For Sale in the windows. It helps tell the story a little better.
