    2004 Mini Cooper

    Hi everyone!

    This is an easy and fun Revell kit faeturing the new Mini, a former british marque, now in the possession of the fellow german BMW for a few years.

    It was primed white and sprayed with Racing Blue both from Tamiya. The dark trim in the body is Revell's Aquous Tar Black, and the Interiors were painted of different shades of grey with Revell's enamels.

    This was meant to be a Christmas gift for this girl best friend of mine, who loves de 1:1 model, so her 'demands' for this one were the blue colour with Shelby stripes and a custom licence plate. This is what happens when women think they know a couple of things about cars,

    Hope you like it!

    Nuno.

    Very nice little Mini Cooper. I like the looks of these cars but don't know if I would like to drive it. Good job!

    I like what your girlfriend asked you to do with it. She must be happy with it. Everyone I know who owns one of these cars loves to drive it.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your comments!

    @martinpr, it's a classic Revell-Germany kit, number 07383. It's a simple curbside ~80 part model kit, but no snap-fit stuff.

    WOW! that's a smart looking model. I've seen this kit but has not to sure if I would like as a model. You just change my mind about that.
