    Jeep Wagoneer

I saw a full size Wagoneer on e-bay a few weeks ago in resin, but did not win it. Does anyone know who produces this kit? I want to combine the Wagoneer and Honcho truck kit to make a replica of my 1/1 Cherokee Chief 2 door, thanks in advance for any information on this kit!

Hi Shakin n SC, sorry to hear you lost the bid! That would make an interesting subject,I've built the Honcho Jeep pick-up from Revell,it was called "Pink Poison" and it was pink on the box art also, at the time of that build I had a 79 Cherokee Chief 1:1 we live in northern Michigan so it was a rust bomb! but it helped as a good reference, over the years I've parted out many J-10's,Wagoneers and Cherokees just to keep mine running,in 1:1 almost all the part are the same. The tail lights were the same on the J-10's and the Cherokee (2dr.) the Wagoneer (4dr.) had wrap-a-round tail lights, I thought about modifying the pick-up into a Cherokee, it might not be too hard? I've seen more difficult convertions that are dead on! We are modelers after all!

    Shakin,

sorry about the info I just sent, the tail lights on the pick-up and the Cherokee are not identical! but they are closer to each other than the Wagoneer, AMC did'nt have alot of changes over the years, they were almost the same for 25 years,
