    Model car/truck/etc., trade/exchange website

Before I searching the internet, does anyone know of, or is there a "Model car/truck/etc. for trade/exchange/free online website. Listing kits/parts for trade, free parts.

With the parameters of no money exchanges through the website, but ony through PM's or email discussions.

Maybe this just "What in the world is Thomas E talking about."

    ? ? ? Would it be worth starting a website for the above purpose ? ? ?

If it spells F-O-R-D then it must be a FORD. If it spells E-D-S-E-L then it must . . .

It would be cool if such a site actually does exist and some other model car forums do have it. Best way to get into exchange/trading kits with others is to know people & make friends in this forum as thats how I have learn to trade in here. A good place to start is to check out the "Where can I get" section and get to know guys that do trading. Always discuss any deals in emails. Maybe some members in here will know more than I do and can help you. Good luck.

It happens on a forum I post on down here.

Both swapping and donating goes on quite freely.  In fact, make the wrong comment and 3 days later parts you weren't expecting turn up in the post!
Karma applies though so if you take and never give it'll get noticed and you'll never get offered anything again.
It is a small and pretty tight knit forum which helps.  My rule is to always offer something in exchange if people have what I want and to usually refuse if i'm helping them out.
