    civic fuel rail questions

I have 2 dumb questions for my honda civic project. First are fuel lines always braided and attached with the fittings that are anadized blue and red (I think they called AN fittings)? Second where would the fuel line attach to the fuel rail. Is there a specific side?  Also do all cars have fuel pressure regulators?

    Re: civic fuel rail questions

in an aftermarket or racing application the lines will almost always be flexible braided line. for your Honda project i would look at some pics of the 1:1 cars to see if there is a particular side it attaches to commonly. some of the magazines on the bookstore shelves may be very helpful here, like Dsport magazine. an online search will work too, but i couldn't tell you where to find Honda specific information of this type. i have a massive collection of magazines for reference.

a regulator is always going to be there. in OEM applications it doesn't stand out like an aftermarket adjustable part would. the OEM fuel line that attaches to the rail will more than likely be a hard line as well instead of the braided style.
