SHOULD  THE  INTERIOR  BE  FLAT OR  GLOSS BLACK

....look for a paint that is satin black...which is between flat and gloss

I always use Krylon's semi-flat black when building a car with a vinyl interior, with good results.  They also have satin black, which is pretty much the same as their semi-flat.

Here is a interior done with semi-flat.

and one in satin black.

 +1 on the semi-flat!

If you aren't going to flock, don't forget to paint any carpeted areas (floor, kick panels, lower doors, etc) flat black. The rear package shelf should also be flat for most cars.
