There was an issue of SAE that showed an idea where you can create nitrous bottles from a using one of those items that holds the torch fuel?

It was in an article with the theme 'More Low Buck, High Tech Detailing' At the moment I do not recall which issue has it, since I don't have all my previous SAE issues with me.
WIPs are: 67 Impala SS, Chysler 05 300C, 48 Lincoln and... and.....darn table is not long enough for more projects :(</font id="blue"> It is useless to attempt to reason a man out of a thing he was never reasoned into.</font id="red"> http://public.fotki.com/NightStone/

I use spare missles and bombs from my military plane kits. They vary in size and shape and can be used in any scale.

Those will make great O2 tanks for ambulances also. You need them just a little bit longer. Novanut, do you have a milling machine? Where do you get one and about how much green does it take to own one? Thanks in advance.
I'm hopelessly addicted to building models. Not finishing them, just building them.

fujimi released a tuner upgrade parts pack that includes two nitrous bottles with decals and a nice auto meter style tachometer with a shift light on the side , the guage face is a decal and works very well after careful trimming and a little decal solvent. the amt supra nitrous bottles are really good if you want some chrome nitrous bottles and it includes the nos decals as well. both of these sources require new brackets to be made for the bottles as they both have them laying flat , nitrous bottles should always be mounted on an angle with the nozzle/valve to the top. the decal should be centered and facing up with the valve handle to one side or the other. i hope this information helps!

sorry guys i was wrong the upgrade parts are from aoshima not fujimi and are listed as spo-com parts set #120 . also included in the set is two recaro tuner bucket seats and another gauge package for the main instrument cluster in a honda civic , two different aftermarket steering wheels and a carbon fibre pedestal wing for the trunk with different types of pedestal brackets and support rods. a decal sheet is provided with the previously mentioned nos decals and four different gauge faces in white and a stock civic gauge cluster decal as well as the recaro logos for the seat backs and some side graphics for the body sides in yellow with green shadows. an auto technik motorsports tuning shop decal is provided for the top of your windshield or rear window as well. this is a very good parts pack for anyone building tuner style cars as well as guys looking for nitrous bottles and tachometers for thier late model muscle cars as well. aoshima has another parts pack available with parts geared towards the drifting crowd too. this parts pack has a few different styles of rear wings , two seats and a few other parts as well. again i hope this information helps!

Alas, the pictures are goneSad...they were on the XPPhoto site that they decided to do away with. I managed to save most, but some were lost.
I havent seen Novanut around here in awhile, though.

I have built a few of them myself. it way simple. i used some metal rod from the hobby shop, and some putty to make the rounded top. i then cut smaller pieces of rod to make the nozzle. then get some briaded line and hook it up. i have about 4 made right now, i will sell you one. email me
