backseat
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, March 11, 2004 6:09 PM
on my current project a 94 supra im adding a rollcage from the fast anf furious kit along with the NOS bottles and the speakers, i built some speakers and am also using the ones from the F&F kit but im having touble getting everything to fit, it looks really good but its kind of squished, and i cant kit everything in their unless i get rid of one of the front seats, which i have decided to do but i would still like to have things more spaced out, so i need to get rid of the backseat. I either need to get completely rid of it with an exacto knife and replace the floor boards with styrene or cover it up which will be easier to do, but im not exactly sure how to go about doing this. So if anyone out there has already done this or has tried it or may even have an idea of how to do it. Any ideas or help will be highly appreceited

Make what you want to cut with a fine sharpie maker and use a razor saw to cut your seat out, then tub out the area where the seat was and you have a big space for all your stuff. You need to keep in mind where the chassis hits the interior tub so you can clear the chassis and not make a mess.
