Indian or Mexican blankets in scale?
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 8:31 AM
Does anyone know if or who makes Indian or Mexican blanket decals for seat covers for the seats of RatRod or Custom seats that seem to be popular these days?

I'm planning on a Rat Custom '49 Ford and it NEEDS blanket seats!

Thanks!

I belive the new Revell model A sedan and pick up models have blanket decals. I would try finding some pics of them on the web and try to make some. My wife did this after she found the pattern she wanted she resized the pics with our print shop program. Then she glued some thin cotton to a sheet of paper and printed some wallpaper for her dollhouse project. then pulled the cotton off the paper worked great for her.

...or you can use a piece of wide maskingtape and either paint the pattern with a brush, or use felt tip pens.

I saw one the other day, a real blanket by wither Hoppin Hydros or Pegasus
I want to be a race car passenger: just a guy who bugs the driver. "Say man, can I turn on the radio? You should slow down. Why do we gotta keep going in circles? Can I put my feet out the window? Man, you really like Tide..." http://public.fotki.com/BigPoppa/darins_stuff-1/

Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!

The Idea of printing a pattern you found that you like is GREAT!!!

I'm looking to go the easy route - so I'll try some decals.

Why not use real thread and masking tape? I'm going to try it, hope this helps.
