Seat Covering
Posted by Tiburon on Monday, May 16, 2005 5:24 PM
I found a 2" cloth ribbon at W-Mart Sunday that makes a great blanket type seat cover for Rat Rods. The story in SAE about making a cover was on my mind when I saw this stuff. Bought some and found by pulling the black thread out I have the Mexican blanket colors left over and sticking DS tape to it before pulling the thread saves time. It's in the ribbon section in the sewing area. They even had the paper thin DS tape as well. Hope this helps.
Ok, I put 3 pic's on my site.(Rat Rod) Sorry I can't post on here. Any way I used craft glue and used the pattern as it is, I think it turned out good, if you have time go look and let me know. Thanks in advance
