Great source for scale electrical wiring

Hi Y'all!   I found a pair (set?) of IPhone headphones in my desk drawer at work, and one of the earbuds is crushed.  Just for fun, I cut off the earbuds, volume clicker and phone plug, just to see what sort of wire was used.  It looks like the wires are between .005 and .010, although I'm leaning more towards the thinner side.  The have five or six different colors & patterns, so they would be great for dash or underhood detailing.  The rubber/plastic tubes that are over the wires are also great for heater hoses are maybe even air conditioner or power steering lines.

the only issue you may have with that wire is it will not hold its shape. i prefer single core wire, which will usually stay in the shape that you bend it. it is rare in electronics because it's easy to break the entire wire when you've only got one core wire. it will also be worth testing that super glue will hold it (some won't glue).

Super glue works quite well, and so far they’ve held there shape really well.
