1960's GM Red Interior Color

Hello, I am building the AMT Super Shaker 1964 Chevy Imapla, and I was wondering if anyone knew what paint is close to the color that the red interiors were. Thank you.

Try Testors Insignia Red.  It's a flat red and if you need a semi gloss red, paint over it after it dries with Model Master Acryl Semi-Gloss Clear.

IIRC that red was more of a "tomato soup" semigloss rather than a bright red. I've had real good luck using acrylic craft paint for that and there are several brands that offer colors that look close to me. They are available in flat, gloss and sometimes semigloss (satin) and readily available at Hobby Lobby, Michael's and the larger Walmart. And they are cheaper.  The suggestion of adding gloss clear on top is a good one and there are even some acrylic clears for that in flat, satin and gloss.
