What is the difference between make and model?

Generally speaking, Make refers to the manufacturer, and model refers to the individual product manufactured.

For example, when talking of, say, a Ford Mustang, 'Ford' is the make, and 'Mustang' is the model. Of course, model can often be broken down even further, such as 'Mustang Boss 302', or 'Mustang Mach I'.
