How long before pulling masking?

Someone somewhere recommended that when removing the masking, pull it back on itself, as close to 180 deg as you can.  I think it helps to prevent lifting the paint.

Yup, I agree. After the paint has flashed but before it has cured.

i usually pull it as soon as the paint has flashed off (dry, but not cured). sooner is better than later.

How long before pulling masking?

I am finished with the paint portion of the main color and was wondering how soon should I pull the masking? I did my white first and then main color red.
