What airbrush paint do you use?
Posted by czech39 on Saturday, March 30, 2019 10:27 AM

Hello all,

I am new to the forum but not new to the hobby, just took a 20 or so year break. I built tons on models in my teens. Anyway, back then I never had an airbrush and I am planning on getting one now. I am just curious as to what paints eveyone uses for their airbrush.

I'm interested in the zero paints, as they are airbrush ready and are colored matched, but they seem difficult to get.

Just wanting to get other opinions on good options.

Thanks

A lot of builders in both of the model car clubs I belong to use Bob Paints and get amazing finishes with their air brushes. Try it.

Here are links to a couple other popular brands. I haven't tried these myself since they are very difficult to get in Canada, but those who use them, like them.

Regarding Gravity Paints, only do business with the Spannish site. The US site is an unsanctioned distributor and their service is exceptionally poor and many have been outright ripped off.

Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
