Issues with Gravity Colors
Posted by medix218 on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 3:10 PM

Who else has been experiencing issues with orders from Gravity Colors USA?  I ordered paint over a month ago, received an email 1 week after the order was placed by Matt telling me there was a mix up with thier bottle supplier and it would not be shipped until 4 June.  I've reached out to them multiple times since with no response.  Yesterday, I reached out through PayPal and now my order is "On Hold".   It's very frustrating to say the least!

You are not the only one. For more tales of woe, read this http://cs.scaleautomag.com/sca/general_discussion/f/3/t/126982.aspx

Other forums have had similar reports. The general consensus is to forget Gravity USA and order from Gravity Europe. See the last post in the above link for more details. Apparently their customer service is much better, though I have no personal experience.

Thanks!  That looks like the best route, I will request a refund from PayPal and order from the Europe site.

So there is definetly an issue with Gravity Colors USA... I cancelled my order with them and reordered from CG Europe.  Same price and here is a reply I got from some feedback of using thier affiliate here.

Dear Eric,
Gravity Colors USA was our American distributor until September, when we broke our contract of collaboration, among other issues, because his very bad customer service. 90% of the messages received at our Facebook were complaints about customers that didn't received their orders, and we detected that he used to give fake tracking numbers, so for us it is unacceptable that part of our company has such way of doing thins. He violated all the basic rules that we required him to collaborate with us. Now he is running his business using our brand without permission.
Your order will be shipped out tomorrow. We will send you a DHL tracking number. The delivery is expected for three or four working days. Anyway, DHL, the next day that they pick up the order, gives you the expected delivery date.
Thanks for your trust in us.
Regards,

The European office is great to work with.  Took less than 7 days to order and receive my paints.

I thought I was the only one getting screwed by this guy. I filed 2 claims with Paypal. The order he did NOT create a tracking number for was just resolved and I was awarded a full refund. The order he DID created a tracking number for is now under review from Paypal. The best thing to do, so you're not wasting time trying to get your money back, is to open a dispute then right away escalade it to a claim. The seller hasn't responded to any Paypal requests for comment in either of my claims so I doubt he will in any other. Which will work in your favor and should end the claim sooner and get you a full refund. Just my two cents worth of advice.

I just tried scale finishes for the first time. They only took about a week and a half, but I'm not sure their "Basin Street Blue" is entirely accurate. I'm willing to give Gravity UK a shot.

I'm holding final judgement on the blue until I get some on a SPOOOOOOOOOON!

(I'm hoping some of you get that).

My favorite color is clear. I am also ambidexterous, I can screw up equally well with either hand. I am 53 years old and been building for most of that time. :)
