Air brush

Guys, I am interested in getting an airbrush and small compressor to learn how to paint with. I have an airbrush picked out but was wondering if I have to buy a special compressor or if the one I have will work. It is a 2 gallon oil free compressor that I use to pump up tires and occasionally use it for brad nailing. It is 100 psi max but can be turned down lower for low pressure? Any help is appreciated!

Yes.. get something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004KNAHE2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and put it at the end of your compressor hose so the air can cool and any water can be filtered out before it gets to your airbrush.  You can also control the pressure from your paint booth with the compressor and it's noise away from you.
