I use molotow pens . *deep breath* the nib is 1m.m so after ruining the tip , I pulled the top off (Don't use your teeth ,unless you want 'gangsta teeth' AHEM !) then used a quality brush. Cellulose thinners to clean BTW , not white spirit !

I've had good results with Spaz-Stix in spray cans as I've first started using it several years ago. You need to use primer on the part, then gloss black enamel, and then a couple light coats of Spaz-Stix and you're good to go.

The way I do it is too strip the part's ,re-paint them Gloss Black, then re-paint with Testors Chrome. The results are hit and miss so test first on a scrap piece of plastik.

I have heard "GOOD" thing's about Alclad, but I have never tried it.

There is also the Molitov Chrome paint pen's. They Work !

Dont worry about the thumb print.... paint it rust and call it battle damage.

Soon to be on the bench...

I want to strip the chrome that comes on the kit but what would be a good replacement? I have read that the alclads are good but Im not to the airbrush stage yet so didn't know if there was a spray can or brush color that is a good form of chrome. I have model masters chrome silver but to me it looks like plain silver.

Thanks for any advice.
