Creating Windshield
Posted by SuperFord97 on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 7:34 AM

Hello everyone I'm back again,  and was wondering what material would make a good vacuum form of a curved windshield when heated. Unless there is some other ways.

I've never done it myself, but I  have heard of folks using the plastic from 2 litre bottles. Yes they're blurry as is, but a friend of mine did it not long ago and stretching it over the form cleared it up. Then he used future shine on it to add clarity. Hope that helps. :)

My favorite color is clear. I am also ambidexterous, I can screw up equally well with either hand. I am 53 years old and been building for most of that time. :)
