I just purchased some decals, custom made, ink jet printed, after printing they sprayed them with a Krylon 1303 Clear acrylic gloss on them, my ? is after I apply them to the model and let them dry over night or longer, will I have a problem spraying a 1;1 automotive 2k uerthane clear on them, I don't want to screw these up, I usually don't use decals, but, these I do. I have micro set and micro sol.

If there are any scrap decals on the sheet I would experiment with it.  Apply it to some scrap plastic, allow it to dry for a couple of days and then try the urethane clear.

I build models because I can't afford the real thing!

I would allow the decals to set more than a day or two.  Try doubling that amount of time and as TarheelRick suggested, experiment with some scrap decal on a piece of scrap plastic with your choice of clear.

On the rare occasion that I do spray clear over decals, I brush a coat of future over just the decals first. But, that's using a hobby clear like Tamiya TS-13. I don't know how it would react with the 2K urethane. I would also do a test with the urethane and the Krylon clear as Krylon paint can be kind of finicky sometimes. I had a reaction between the Krylon clear and TS-13 on a model some time ago.

I Thank you my modeling buddies, to be honest here what clear should have been used before applying to the model, I read that when you cut the decals the acrylic cracks, I s this true, I really don't want to mess these up.
