Advice on airbrushing kits
Posted by Kathy2918 on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 9:19 AM

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me.

My partner works in a car body shop and has expressed that's he'd like to start air brushing designs onto cars at home. I wanted to surprise him for his birthday with an airbrushing kit to get him started. Only trouble is I don't know what's good and what's not good. I've looked on places like Amazon, eBay, and a few airbrushing sites, they all have mixed reviews and a lot of information I don't understand, so not sure whats best to get him.

If someone can help me I'd appreciate it very much.

Thank you in advanced

I have the Grex Tritium TS and I really like it. Click the link below to see it, check around the internet for the lowest price on it. I think I paid $170 about 8 years ago. I chose this airbrush because of the pistol grip type trigger, much easier for me.

Thank you fire-stang. is there any other ones you would recommend as well? So I can compare and decide between a few different ones. Been having a look around at the grex ones and they look really good.

Hello, thank you for getting back to me . Unfortunately everywhere I have looked for a Grex airbrushing kit with compressor, the companies have said they don't ship to the UK.

So I've had to look at some other models, but not sure if they very good after looking at the Grex lol. I was wondering if you'd be able to give me some input on them and steer me into buying the right one.

Here are a few that I have found, if you wouldn't mind taking a look and letting me know if any of them will work for what he wants to do, I'd very much appreciate it.

Kind regards
