Has someone ever built the Amt NASCAR Coors trailer ?
Posted by ford fan on Monday, January 28, 2013 2:14 PM

Hi

I wish to begin my Amt race car transporter "Coors" trailer.

My biggest fear concerns the decals. The 2 huge decal sheets are like new, but since the sides of the trailer are heavily textured (there are ribs, rivets, opening doors, etc etc), I was wondering if the decals will conform to all engraved details ? Has someone ever built this kit ?

I would be very disappointed if I completed the model, just to discover that the decals would ruin my job...

Thank you

Cut out a portion of the sheet you won't be using, such as copyright date etc. and test with it. If the sprue has raised part numbers, use that as your test bed.

Glad I could help. Sometimes even the throw-away pieces have use.

I was looking at one of these (Kraaco or Kodak version) and was wondering how much room there is when you put a car in them.
