They used a color really close to Ford Grabber Blue until the late 60's/early 70's- then it was Petty blue...The exact match for that is Peugeot Securicor Blue, which can be mixed up for you in a rattle can at your local NAPA--C/Max parts store. You can also use 1970 Chrysler corporate blue...it's the same color. Hope this helps

I had the resident paint guy at work mix some Petty Blue for me , in quart size ; it's acrylic lacquer .

As previously stated , "Corporate Blue" is the exact same colour as the following colours :

1. Corporate Blue ( 1962-1963 )

2. Petty Blue ( 1964-1971 ) , which was a special order colour , and only available in the SouthEast .

3. Super Blue ( Dodge ) / Basin Street Blue ( Plymouth ) from 1972-??

So , the colour is available , just not in spray cans ; although another member just mentioned that NAPA will mix colours in spraycan form...I hope that's the case ! Then I won't have to go through the thinning b.s. next time ( lol ).

Of course you can always go to Model Car World (MCW), as they have most paints to match the race cars. Here's the page with the Petty colors:
