Lindberg Slant Six Engine Wanted
Posted by steveracer on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 8:45 AM

I am looking for the engine tree and parts for the Chrysler slant six.  Does anyone on this forum have this as spare parts that they would like to part with and share?

I need this for a project in process!

Steveracer;

 I would bet the Little Red Wagon would have that engine. It's not originally Lindberg, but M.P.C. I believe. I do know there is another, but I cannot remember which kit it was

I'm afraid the LRW has a small block V8.
The Deora has a very nice leaning tower of power, so another source for your search. Apparently an AMT annual from the early-mid 60s (Valiant or Baracuda maybe) has a slant 6 but I haven't seen one so don't know how good they are, and it's probably been cast in unobtanium anyway.

Hey guys, thanks for the tips.  Is the Deora model back out in circulation again?  I wish there were shows and swap meets right now because I am sure I could find parts or a trashed kit for less than the $30 for a new complete kit.

I have the Lindberg but don't want to give it up for nothing. Pm me and let's work something out.

The Lindberg 1964 stock Plymouth Belvedere Kit has a nicely detail slant six. It also comes with the 426 wedge so you can build that version and have the six for your project.  Overall it's a pretty nice kit with decent detail.  The similar Lindberg 1964 Richard Petty Plymouth does not have the six.

See also Lindberg's '64 Dodge 330 for a slant six, as well as a 383 V8.  Cheers

You are correct. I used the Lindberg Dodge slant six in my ' 65 Belvedere. Fit like a glove.

Beautiiful. Using one in my Mobius Belvedere and it fit well.
