I saw that Pinto release date will be June I think. I may have to buy it at that time to build another one drag ready pro stock/ss/ or top sportsman. Pro mod hmmmmmm now that might be a challenge LAFFFF.  Got a 60 Falcon on the way. I'll be posting pics soon Thanks again

Thanks. I build all my cars to drag specs and looks never stock. I do have that one but I may have to buy another one as donor. Thanks very much for the info.

FYI, it looks like round 2 is slated to release a '76 Pinto in Jun. PS I sold the Maverick long ago.

A 66 Fairlane chassis would work for the Maverick too. Would have to be cut to size.

Can you post a few pics of that Maverick showing engine and chassis work? Really appreciate the help.

Just another trick I used was adding the engine compartment components from the '67 mustang to the maverick, again not 100% true to form but convincing enough.

For the Pinto, you could slightly modify a like year(second gen.) mustang, and I've used the '67 mustang chassis for my Maverick. it's not 100% accurate but adds detail not found on the original.(it will have to be shortened slightly). hope this helps, Bill.

For the Maverick you might be able to use a Johan Comet kit, if you can find one reasonably.  As for the Pinto, there are a couple of older kits of the Pinto that again are hard to find, but out there.

I build models because I can't afford the real thing!

I've ordered both of these resins above but can't seem to locate decent chasis's for either. Any suggestions very much appreciated?
