Columbia Overdrive
Posted by southpier on Friday, September 08, 2017 12:19 PM

which side of the rear axle is it located? Revell '40 instructions has it on one side, and HAMB photos show the other. or was it interchangable?

and where does the control valve get located? is the system run by vacuum?

1:1 links appreciated, too. thanks

I think that a visit to "Google" is in order.

google isn't my search engine of choice; i use duckduckgo for a variety of reasons. which also included pictures of the overdrive unit on both sides of the driveshaft.

thank you for the meaningful reply; it's been a great help.

Laughing out loud here , I've just found my Columbia in a box of "pre '40's" spares !! Minus the suspension of course Research needed now then .... (Typical of me there !) Thanks for the info , I might pop it under my '40 pick up towing a midget racer combo . Would a quick-change Columbia be feasible I wonder .... ( Get the Meds , he's off on one again )

A simple pill organizer and a timer app for the phone can ensure an over 96% success rate on remembering medications... or so I've heard.  Stick out tongueConfused

My favorite color is clear. I am also ambidexterous, I can screw up equally well with either hand. I am 53 years old and been building for most of that time. :)

WARNING !

Before taking Gluemotoron  be advised of the side effects.

Working with small parts may cause anxiety, and blurred vision.

Sniffing glue or paint fumes may intensify these effects.

Be careful handeling sharp tools, as Gluemotoron may cause "tremmors".

Ask your Doctor if Gluemotoron is right for you, he may "reccommend" a kit with less parts.

Dont worry about the thumb print.... paint it rust and call it battle damage
