WHAT ARE THESE PARTS???
Posted by 6 on Sunday, June 11, 2017 7:41 PM

If anyone has the MPC 73 Mustang, check out part 125.  It's 2 pieces in chrome.  What is it?  It's not in the instructions.

Same deal with the MPC 79 Z28.  Similar looking chrome parts, represented as #126.  What is this supposed to be?

Thanks!!!

6, I thought we already discussed this or is that from one of those emails that got lost?

Try posting a picture of the parts. Not everyone is a stang guy, but many of us will be able to recognize a specific part. These kinds of posts are a little useless without the reference.

My favorite color is clear. I am also ambidexterous, I can screw up equally well with either hand. I am 53 years old and been building for most of that time. :)

On the bench... somewhere. Pink Panther show car, 1978 Dodge Magnum Charger Daytona Midnight edition SE 300. Mongrel T.

What he said. I may be able to recognize the parts from the multiple '73s I've had, but I'm afraid I don't have one on hand to use for reference

Spence, I have seen the pics of what 6 is asking about and the parts for the Camaro are a turbo.  The parts from the Stang look the same to me but I have not done any of the Stang reissues and didnt know any of those had a turbo option.  Part 125 on my 73 MPC stang is a 4bbl carb in one piece so I dont know which issue kit he has.
