Tire Profile Lowering
Posted by Fallenz on Sunday, August 21, 2016 9:07 PM

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew how to lower tire profiles. I have the Tamiya Toyota Supra and the tires are too thick which makes it sit high. Lowering the profile will make it sit lower I just don't know how. Please help thanks

Thats kinda tuff to do...i would try to find some lower profile tires to fit the wheels or change out the wheel/tire combination for a lower profile set.

A lower profile tire will open up the space between the fender well and the tire, making the stance look "off".  You should also consider modifying the suspension itself to help lower the car for a better look along with a different tire profile.  Some suspensions are easy to lower while others are harder to do, based on their complexity.
