Also, check out Ken Hamilton's book. It is full of resources and he is selling and signing them. Makes a great Xmas gift too!
if your still looking for some 1/24 scale parts for a dio email me, i may be able to help
If I may speak here on a somewhat "Non Usually used " item , uh Foamcore ! Yep , use Foamcore to do walls with in 1-24th or 1-25th scale . Look you glue it together with ole White glue ! Thats not convient , try 5 minute epoxy ! The "Foam " edges here need to be treated special though ...... These need to be sealed with either white glue , epoxy or covered by strip styereene. Even then , be careful as to the glue you apply to the styereene as the Foam will melt under the plastic . Now , I saw where someone wanted to do a Chevron Gasoline station . No problem !!!!!!!!! How about a Porcleian Tile overlay ????????
All ya gots to do is scribe the tiles with a blunt tip pencil !!!! Yess, it's that simple ! You want a concrete finish , no problem once again ! It's called Stone Fleck Paint , avalible from any Michiaels art store . Put the building together , , and apply the Stone Fleck over it and then put some Ole Testors White over it to look like a typical service station from 1932 to the early 60's .
Here we are BEFORE the Stonefleck ............
Here we are after the sanstone colored Stonefleck is applied .......
Now if anyone an I mean anyone here has any questions , please send me an e-mail or a P-M , I'm happy to help . Ed Shaver
