Making some progress. What a great kit.

I'm actually working on this bike at the moment too.  First bike I've ever worked with, and it's been interesting working with new platforms.  I did, however, soak the chrome parts in super clean to get the stock shine off and add some alclad chrome, which in my opinion looks far superior.  I did a bit of playing around with clear coats too before settling on Cromax 2K gloss, which really makes this bike look sick.  Keep up the good work.  Looks like you're almost done.  I'm not too far behind.

Nice looking model. The heat discolouration on the pipes looks particularly good. Nicely done.

Looks great!  You capture the metallic paint quite well.  It would have been cool if Tamiya had the "road" option of the H2 in the kit.

Hi. I just bought this kit earlier this month and gathering the stuff I need to complete it before starting the build. I hope my heat staining looks as good as yours. Wish me luck. I hope to post some pictures here during my build to show the progress.
