Posted by 07pt_cruiser on Saturday, November 07, 2015 7:07 PM

I was just wondering if kits of any 70s CB Hondas were ever made, like a  500 four 550 four 350 four or 450 DOHC

i know mpc's 750 four is due next month I can't wait to get one

any replies are appreciated

Hey Cruiser, I recently bought the Honda Trail 70 kit. A friend of mine on our street had one when I was about 13. Begged my dad for one all the time but, never did get one. So now I'll settle with a plastic one. It's obviously an old old mold as there is a ton of flash. Thankfully the wheels were strippable. The were molded in heavy chrome. the real deal's hubs and wheels were flat aluminum. I'll probably get the 750 also! Take Care Tracy B

I'm 14 and had a CT70H (rare 4 speed manual clutch model) when I was 11, I loved that bike so much. My dad sold it and I'm currently restoring a '71 CT70 3 speed auto... MPC kit is definitely on my list...also I think the decals in the mpc kit are for a CT70H but the kit has a 3spd motor...will need some modification to make a proper "H".

There are some Honda kits, but maybe not 70's - if you go to hlj.com and look for motorcycle kits, there are some. Marc

Check EBay, I have seen some older Honda CBs on there from time to time. Probably not great kits, but better than nothing. I think there was a 350 or 400 on not long ago... had never seen one in the small dispacements before. I had a 350F cafe racer for a few years, would be nice to build a replica...oh well too many projects already.
