It looks great so far. Bikes are very different to build.

But they are also a lot of fun!

I look forward to seeing more of this. Been wanting

one of those myself.

Also, this is the Aoshima Models AOS-003312 Kawasaki Police 1000 Window Shield Type Motorcycle 1/12 Scale.    They have 2 versions, windshield and cowl.  The windshield one is pretty much 1:1 the CHIPS motorcycle.  Anyone that was a kid in the 70';s and 80's  I am sure always wanted a CHIPS motorcycle.

Nice work on the brake rotor. I had to redo mine on the RZV I'm doing because I botched them up the first time around.  Did you mask yours or just brush paint 'em?

Feelings are like scents: The more they are analyzed, the worse they smell.

I mask them, this one was a little easier to mask because the gold part is sunk a little.  It was easy to cut the tamiya masking tape with a hobby knife and follow the circle.    I have done a few other motorcycles where the masking was much more difficult.

Was surprised to find these on ebay. Just bought one for 29 bucks. Seemed like a good deal, I think. Never have built a motorcycle model, but I did the GMC pickup and Firebird from CHiPs. Looking forward to this. If only it was the same scale. Should be fun anyway!

Just getting started with this one, and so far I am liking the fit of everything. You really have to study the instructions, but I think this one is going to be a fun challenge (as opposed to an overwhelming one). Here's what I have so far (this is 27 pieces):
