The new addiction...
Posted by Jodah175 on Tuesday, June 03, 2014 6:17 PM

So, broke my foot a few months back, and having entirely too much time on my hands i put together some bikes. It's now become an addiction! XD

The entire collection so far minus the Bimota Tesi 1D. Also pardon the mess in the background, these were shot with my phone before I got a proper camera.

CBR1100R, obviously not box stock. Windscreen got buggered up a bit on one corner. :-/

Aoshima Black Widow "Green Envy". Very first bike I built. Really wish I used the supplied 2 piece frame like I did on the other 2 I built. :-/

Aoshima Coyote "Purple Passion". Due to my impatience, the drag bars are a bit crooked.

Hope your foot gets better,,cheers!

Oh my foots been fine for the past month. Broke it back in the beginning of Feb. But thanks! I just wish my modeling skills were better. that Ducati 900SS post made me realize how poor my skills actually are. XD But yeah, the VFR is my dream bike. I'll never be able to afford an actual RC30, but a 97 VFR750 is jsut as acceptable to me. :-)

nothing wrong w/the modeling skills   it looks to me,,i dig the different use of "off-set" colors  that compliment each other.  The VFR750  is a fun bike  for sure,,id like to get a  mid to late 70's  Kawi 1000,,green mtlflk  w/the white trim stripes on the tank,,,inline 4  madness!  Get well soon.

Jodah, great set of bikes!!! I have built some of them myself, the RC30 really is a lovely bike, would also love to have a 1:1.....

You might consider the Yamaha V-Max kit, which is impressive and really really nice to build!!!!!!

Thanks modelmarc! I would sell my soul to have an actual RC30. XD I wanna get another kit to do something similar to what shaun posted, but more of a street fighter variant. I'll look into the vmax kit though. Currently have a yosh busa on the bench. Note to self: Testors one-coat in white does NOT cover on red-cast plastic. >_< So now the busa is gonna be silver. XD
