Greetings all ,,I did this Harley  Soft tail  springer  rebuild  a few months ago,,I traded some of my built kits for it,,scratch built the sissy bar,,,shortened  the exsaust tips,,put cables on it{none in kit}   also had to use trans am decals,,didnt have any decals for it either.  But it turned out ok,,now I just wish I had the 1:1 bike!  Happy building!

Great looking ride, have thought of building the 1:1 "Heinz 57" Harley I have in model form (it is an early FXR with Springer fork fitted), seeing yours provides some solid inspiration!

Thanks R Nagle,,sorry bout late reply,,Im not sure if I have my e-mail notifications set right,,this isa swap meet kit,,it was totally built when I got it,,so had to take apart the whole thing and start from zero,,its a great Revell kit,,the detail on it is really good for a snap kit, always enjoy the large bike kits,,no matter which they are,,happy building!Big Smile

Thanks Hog,,you got some great stuff also,,this was a "test shot" snap kit I got  a swap meet,,it wasnt painted when I got it,,so had to  do total teardown,,and redo/paint it. I tell ya,,for a snap kit ,,it has alot of detail molded on it,,I did have to use a rim/tire from a 70's era Revell bike kit,,the original was damaged beyond use,,but it worked ok. Thanks again.
