Vespa 125 moped

This was basically another experiment to improve myself with working with die-cast models. The basic model as you can see was a metallic green. I added brake wires, rear view mirror, a front head light glass(the ofiginal model did not have one. So I added it), and modified the seat to look worn. Then i proceed to weather the entire model. Hope u like the results. It will be placed on a proper base or a small diorama. Before: After:

NEAT! thats one of the great things about modeling that i love so much, endless subject matter. you did an excelent job, especially the weathering, i hope to be as half as good sme day. who was the manufactuerer of the diecast ? i guess the red front end was a previous repair? it looks like its seen some miles for sure. very realistic, thanks.           heavychevy

Hey tiking that's a great job. I used to remember those on the roads here in the UK when I was about 10 years old, great Vespa scooter. And when I was a teenager we used both Vespa and Lambretta scooters to get around on. We chrome plated the side panels and made sports exhausts for them.
