Testors1:9 Custom HD-FXSTS Redux/Bump? or Final Farewell?

Alot of you watched me as I customized a lot of the parts on the kit at the link below and all of YOUR encouraging words really inspiered me to strive for a higher goal as I was building it.

Testors1:9 Custom HD-FXSTS - Finished Pics 9-13-2012

Well I am afraid the worst is the truth, A lot of you watched this project as it was being built which took over a one year span but unfortunately this model was destroyed when a neighbors 250 pound Bull Mastiff pushed its way passed it owner as it tromped into my front room and as it headed straight for the couch,  this giant thing bashed sideways into the back of the couch, were unfortunately it upended the 2 by10 wooden shelf I had made behind where the model was displayed, it was also where my wife kept her Fine Crystal Vases behind the couch, as it all was up-ending everything  into the air, and of course, The model came down right next to this behemoth and it caught its attention and both paws almost seemed to grab it and right into its mouth, and yes, the dam thing chomped down on it utterly destroying it. About the only thing that made it through this was the Ape Hanger handle bars.
Needless to say, my neighbor is no longer invited to our home and he has promised to replace the kit; but ya know, I just didn't feel that would make up for all my work, so, I have not only told him that he "will” make good on the new kit, but that I need satisfaction, that he should pay $omething in restitution for the time it took me to custom and assemble it .  I had a consultation with a local attorney who told me that even if a court was to decide in my favor, if he didn’t want to pay up, there would be no way to force it out of him. So if he replaces the kit I suppose I will not try being the bad guy and letting it go.
I’ll try it again and hope it turns out half as nice as this one did ya know;;;

I have been tinkering with this one for a while, I am not happy with the paint soI will be repainting the tanks first, as there are ghost flames on the tanks but they are too dark and are hard to see so try try again as they say; Go to the Fotki linked to the build to see all the things I have done to this 42 WLA kit, let me know if you can tell where the back legs were lengthend and the neck was raked to fit the longer and newer FXSTS springer I used from the kit from the now destroyed FXSTS that had the shorter WLa spinger front end on it...,,      is it "Real? Or is it Memorex"  Just joken about memorex thing,, I ain;t that good heck   LOL  Laaterrrr....Good Dudes of  Motorcycle Modeling....
