Hi r2nddan; only now have see your post. I like to use cables from detail master, pro-tech and some ones you will find in/on tamiya's models (1/24 cars and 1/12 bikes), don't forget to search for fishing lines, they are nylon coated metal lines, are cheap and work wery well. Hope i can help you. Best regards from Brazil.

One way to get the info you need is to ask a chopper rider if they would mind if you dimensioned their bikes cables, lines etc. Or hit the local chopper shop or dealership and measure the parts on a bike there. I see the Revell choppers all the time with the supplied black hose to do all the lines etc ,this looks bad on the model and takes away from the other work. You will need to measure : oil lines ,throttle cable , clutch cable ,brake lines. Good luck.

Thank You ; Krow113

r2nddan, this site is not dead at all, in fact its probably one of the most active forums on the web. Anyhow, I would just use Scaledreams black spark plug wire or battery cable if I were you. Good luck.

Do what you like.

I would have to say, try fine cat-5 telephone cable inners, there's years of supply of bike cables etc in them little critters.

Oh, and as we're on it, try S.M.A (Scale Model Addicts) also a good big site covers a lot.

Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most.!!!!
