1/12 GSX1300R Hayabusa - Street Drag (New pics)

1/12 plastic Hyabusa kit by NewRay - Very similar to a Tamiya kit, but is actualy one of those cheap (& almost nasty) toys you get, semi assembled, with a few screws & a tiny screwdriver.

Stretched the  swingarm with some scrap plastic & auto body filler, robbed a set of wheels off a Maisto Honda 600, made the zorst into a 4:1 & shortened the right side silencer can. Also lowered the front end & modded the seat hump. Left side pillion footrest hanger is now the reg (tag) mount, the right side pillion was removed. All paint is from rattle cans - Vauxhal Spectral Blue Pearl over gloss black & the gold is Plasti-kote brilliant metal. The decals were raided from a Tamiya kit. All panels were drowned in multiple clear coats of 'Hycote Bodyshop' acrylic.

Cheers,  Enjoy   -   Art

While I'm not "into" bikes, I do appreciate good modeling skills nno matter what the subject matter is and your bike really looks good and your color choice is excellent.

For a cheapie kit to start with, you built a very good looking 'Busa.  She's a beast of a bike, and I mean that as a compliment.  Cheers
