Sometimes, the level of enthusiasm (pun intended) here is barely discernable. Isn't anyone at all excited about this motorcycle pack? Its not the greatest by any stretch but i thought the mere novelty of it would draw out some comments.

I wish Revell would get on the stick and reissue their parts pack motorcycles, especially the Harley and Triumphs.

I'm a little upset right now, I was so excited about scoring 3 of the old 1960s revell double packs that includes one chrome and one black (triumph) and one chrome and one red (Honda) recently and I've been anxiously waiting for them to arrive from the U.K. and I finally got them yesterday and the Honda double pack is fine other than one chrome engine half falling off of the sprue tree.... Unfortunately the triumphs were both seriously damaged, all but 2 wheel halves are very badly broken, one is completely missing almost half of the wheel and spokes, the chrome frame is broken in about 4 places, basically the only value the 2 triumphs have left is to build them as displays. So with that said, I've already started the black one since it was in the best condition. A basic trim and mockup for fitment sake. I will still be getting another double pack in the mail soon of the same revell double triumphs kit and hopefully they will arrive undamaged.

I've also got the double pack of dirt bikes and modified one into a "cafe racer" of sorts and built one basic stock, I have an Ftoys Kawasaki Zephyr 1/24 scale that is a really awesome kit and come partially assembled and completely pre-painted, I have an Entex kawasaki that I am modifying with some Ftoys parts also...

Now I also have to say that I have a couple of other 1/25 motorcycles that I have built (unfinished) that are basically scratch built, one is a "dragbike" style chassis (old school style with a skinny rear tire) but I stuffed a 302 v8 ford engine in it. And the other one is kind of a custom "chopper" but not with a super long front, basically just a custom cruiser with a completely scratch built Panther engine with some small bits from the parts box.

I also have the engine from the Harley that came with the truck (not sure exactly which kit) and several of the west coast chopper diecast choppers in many pieces that my son destroyed when he was little, I gave them to him as toys, and now use the parts to build my models

I would love to post pics of them all but have yet figured out how to use this site completely.

I also want to ask anyone reading this...

What do you think about actually building the rare or obscure 1/25 scale kits like the Revell Triumph/Honda/BSA/Harley Davidson kits or others like the Entex 1/25 scale motorcycles? Seems I keep getting mine damaged from shipping so I. see building them as the only option left. And what are your thoughts on making modifications to these kits if they are damaged and being built?
