I was given this by a fellow SA member here in the almost sunny UK.
It's not a promo but a proper kit , and with box (although a box for a 62 but never mind, it's still vintage and funky)

Despite missing a windshield which I replaced with a 62 Galaxy windshield, it's all here and complete and came with spare chrome.
The white bands had gone a yellowy brown so I cleaned them up. The hood was glued shut so I freed it and used a 64 Galaxy engine I happened to have in parts box.

Painted in Antelope beige, I think this came off pretty well.

" I think this came off pretty well."

That my friend is an understatement.  It came off beautifully.  Excellent save.  Are there any engine compartment pictures?

I build models because I can't afford the real thing!
