1972 Oldsmobile Toronado.

This is a restored Promo I bought off Ebay. It wasn't in bad shape to be honest but the paint was scuffed and scratched and had a hole drilled in the rear fender (I'm thinking someone was hoping to put lights in it one day).

Naturally I couldn't save the oliver green paint, which is a shame, but I do  have a Cutlass in the colour.

I left the interior the original factory black though, but just flocked it and added seatbelt hardware.

We should be glad you couldn't save the original color !! This is far more striking. And captures the lines of this car perfectly. Outstanding restore !!!

The beige color top is very appropriate for GM cars from around '71 thru '74. Great detail job on a rare promo.

An uncommon subject. Enough time has passed that one can almost look back at cars like this with a certain nostalgic fondness. Your work here is very clean and well represented. The model has a nice, realistic appearance. Your panel lines look great. Nice work and interesting subject.
