1981 Dodge Van

I restored this from an MPC kit I built years ago. I've always liked the stacked light vans.
I might replace the door mirrors later with a more accuarate type like you see on the dodge Ram. Just need to find the things.

Cleanly built and well finished model, she looks sharp.  Are those the kit wheels?  They are great.  Cheers.

This is certainly the cleanest stock build I've ever seem of this kit. It looks great. Very nicely done.

Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Beautiful! I just purchased an MPC ' 72 Dodge van kit, from evilpay, which I'm going to turn in to a camper with the extended roof. Most of the work will be on the inside, but I hope the outside turns out even half as nice as yours. Whistling

No, I'm not sure where the wheels came from. The wheel covers that came with this van are the same style but were red platic like the rest of the kit, not plated.

Wow, that is beautiful. Nice restore. Awesome color choice as well. My next door neighbor several decades ago had one of these in almost the same color combo !! He drove it for over 10 years and looked as good as the day he got it. This brings back great memories for me !! Great job !!!

Nice clean work, that looks great! Those wheels look like the ones that were in the Cannonball Run release of this kit, I'm not sure what others they may have been in.
