1960 Chrysler Imperial Project.

I started this very nice '60 Imperial some time back in a different color but had paint issues, so it was stalled for quite some time.

I recently pulled it back out with a new color in mind.

A pale yellow called "Sunburst".

I did a few simple modifications to this one including a partially reworked hood ornament & I decide to nix the "toilet seat" spare tire bulge & do the trunk lid in a standard configuration.

2 coats of paint so far.

I will foil the scripts & then shoot one more color coat.

I hope that I can avoid clear coats on this one depending on the final color coat.

It will save me a bunch of time.

I love the old Imperials . Good on you , and it really didn't need the " Toilet Seat " on the trunk to look good either ! O.C.G.

I have made a bit more progress recently.

Still waiting for more foil to be shipped, but I did get the paint all polished out & about half of the foil done.
