The car was built box stock. Only added custom licence plates.

Hope you guys enjoy.

Outstanding build of an often overlooked FORD.  I have two of the hardtops and three convertibles, plus a 4 door resin body, just have to get busy on them.  However I will not be able to reach this excellence in my builds.

I build models because I can't afford the real thing!

Beautiful! So I take it red is the correct engine color for a 53?

Beautiful! I have the red one and a resin 4door body that I’m going to use to replicate my 1/1 ratrod. My cars engine is orange but I believe some engines were red.

don;t throw that away,i can use it!

Only on passenger cars. A '53 pick up would have a green flathead.

Good looking Ford. Nice clean build.

Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Nice build man!  Great photography, looks 1:1.

Before 52 the engine colors were either blue, green,or gray. 52-53 they were Tangerine red and 54 up they were green.

don;t throw that away,i can use it!

Once again you've set the bar too high for us mere mortals...stellar job!

Regarding the wheel covers...were the centers of the covers decals, or did you knock it out of the park again with paint/washes?
